I have been reading "catcher in the rhy". I would rather say it is touching, especially to teenagers and college students and those newly graduated employees. It is about the pretentious world and the poor spiritual life in about 1950s in New York, but the situations described in the novel is obviously not confined to the time and place in it. I am not here overstating our pains or troubles or advocating such a passive way of living. The novel is the typical one devoted to talk about things happen on your 10s and 20s. I got the same feeling as the boy in the book and it really touches my heart.sorry to find that your main concern is love novels here after the words above.
