My Growth Story in Maple Leaf International School
——I am happy I grow up

不知不觉我来枫叶读书已经有一年半的时间了，我已从一个懵懂胆怯的小孩蜕变成一个自信阳光的学生，而且我相信作为枫叶学子的我在今后的日子里会更棒，更出色！
Ive studied in Maple Leaf International School for a year and a half. And I have grown up to a confident student from a shy and timid child. I believe I will become better and more brilliant!
曾经我是那么胆小，课上课下都不敢大声说话，是老师鼓励的眼神，温和的话语和真诚的夸赞，让我一次比一次有勇气去挑战以前想都不敢想的事。学校有很多活动，我都尽可能地参加，这不仅开拓了我的视野，更让我明白了很多道理。
Once I was so timid that I dare not speak loudly in and after class. It was my teacher who encouraged me to challenge what I never dared to do with encouraging eyes, gentle guidance along with generous praise. I tried my best to participate in as many school activities as possible, which not only broadened my horizons, but let me understand a lot about the world around.
我主持了义乌枫叶第一届英语艺术节，参加了英语演讲和英语歌唱比赛，还参加了不少艺术类的活动和比赛。在丰富多彩的活动中，我不仅赢得了掌声和成绩，还让我认识到团队的重要，感受到知识的力量，领略到语言的奥妙……这让我以后能够更加从容淡定自信地站在不同的舞台上。
I hosted the first session of English art festival in our school. I took part in the English speech contest and the English singing contest. I also participated in many art activities and contests, in which I won not only a lot of applause and grades, but also more harvest: realizing the importance of a team, sensing the power of knowledge, enjoying the secrets of language...which makes me stand on different stages more calmly and more confidently。
是枫叶给了我一个充分展现自我的舞台，是老师们为我培土扶枝，让我稚嫩的翅膀慢慢坚挺。
It is Maple Leaf International School that offer me a stage to fully show myself. It is my teachers that cultivate and support me and let my tender wings become stronger slowly.
枫叶，在让我一天天成长强大的同时，还让我学会了团结友爱，感恩和付出。
Maple Leaf not only makes me strong but also teaches me to be friendly, grateful and hardworking.
数学郑老师常让我当“小老师”为同学们指点难题，这不仅让我的数学成绩更上一层楼，也让我学会了团结帮助同学，同学们也更爱我。
In Maple Leaf International School, Miss. Zheng, our Maths teacher, often assigns me to help classmates solve difficult problems. By playing as an assistant teacher, I made much progress in this subject and learned how to be helpful. As a result, I have had better relationship with my classmates.
是英语高老师在每个周末为我反馈的英语语音作业，一一纠正不标准的发音，是外教老师课后为我的演讲稿指导和建议，这让我对英语更有兴趣了。
Miss Gao, my English teacher, sends her feedback for my English pronunciation every weekend. The foreign teacher helps me with the speech and gives me some suggestions. Influenced by them, I become more interested in English.
是班主任于老师，在我因爷爷逝世请假多日后返校出现在教室时，紧紧地拥抱了我，同学们不约而同用掌声欢迎我回来，让我倍感温馨。
Mrs. Yu, my homeroom teacher, allowed me to leave school for several days because of my grandfather’s passing away. She gave me a big hug when I returned to the classroom. My classmates applauded at the same time to welcome me back, which made me very moved.
原来我的周围满满的都是爱！
I’m lucky that I live in a place full of love.
在枫叶，有太多太多的故事，有太多太多的风景，它们会一直陪伴我健康快乐地成长。
In Maple Leaf, there are so many stories and so many beautiful sceneries that I can admire. I believe I can grow up happily and healthily.

I was so lucky to study in Maple Leaf International School and Im pretty proud of staying here. I will pursue true knowledge, experience kindness in the life ocean here and find out beauties in the Interest Hallway of Maple Leaf International School. I am willing to be the most beautiful maple leafer……
